Netflix’s upcoming documentary series “Arnold” offers a glimpse into the life of Hollywood action icon Arnold Schwarzenegger. The two-minute-21-second-long trailer takes viewers on a journey from Arnold’s rural Austrian roots to his bodybuilding career, acting career, political experiences, and family life.
In the preview, Arnold speaks candidly about his journey from becoming Mr. Universe at the age of 20 to winning Mr. Olympia, one of the most prestigious bodybuilding contests in the world. He also talks about his transition to acting and becoming an action star before delving into his political career, which culminated in him serving as the 38th governor of California between 2003 and 2011. The documentary series, directed by Lesley Chilcott, who is known for helming “An Inconvenient Truth,” promises never-before-seen footage and stories from Arnold’s journey to the highest echelons of the American dream. In addition to “Arnold,” viewers can also catch Schwarzenegger in his first OTT series, “FUBAR,” a high-octane action thriller where he plays an undercover CIA operative on his last mission before retirement, which was released on May 25.
