Body Architect – BM Bhishma Madhani On Being An Ambassador Of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Fit India Movement

October 20, 2022

Right from the time he was in school, Bhishma Madhani was extremely passionate about two things, fitness, and cricket. While playing cricket remains a hobby for him, fitness has become his profession. Through his personal training business Body Architect – BM, Bhishma has helped people from all walks of life achieve their fitness goals in a seamless manner. While his clientele has grown significantly over the years, what Bhishma feels the happiest about is the fact that he has been able to contribute to the positive transformation a large number of people have gone through in their lives.

Talking about the thought behind Body Architect – BM, Bhishma says, “With Body Architect – BM, our goal has been to make fitness programs more accessible. I strongly believe that most people today are fitness conscious and well aware of the issues that can crop up if they don’t look after their health. Most of them, however, are not sure how to improve their physical health and move towards a healthy lifestyle. When I offer personal training to a client, I analyze their physical health and provide them with the kind of plan that would help them achieve their fitness goals in the correct way.”

As a child, one of the most important lessons that Bhishma was taught by his parents was to help others and contribute to the growth of society. While Bhishma followed this principle from a very young age, the opportunity to serve society in a more significant manner came when he was appointed as an ambassador of the Fit India Movement initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As a fitness and health ambassador, Bhishma has been creating free health, workout, and diet plans for the armed forces, army personnel, and doctors. He also actively organizes fitness awareness seminars in schools, colleges, and universities across the country.

“I would always be grateful for being appointed as one of the ambassadors for the Fit India Movement. It was a huge honour for me. It has also given me the opportunity to bring about a significant change in society and make a larger number of people aware of the importance of fitness. My reward for these services has been the blessings that have been bestowed upon by all those who are leading a healthier lifestyle today”, he says.

Apart from sports and fitness, Bhishma has other interests as well. A couple of years back, he did a professional acting course at Anupam Kher’s acting institute Actor Prepares in Mumbai. While his focus remains on fitness and making a bigger brand out of Body Architect – BM, he is open to giving acting a shot if some good offers come his way.

Bhishma is currently pursuing a degree in Sports and Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning from Middlesex University London (London Sports Institute).

At Lords Cricket Ground (Fit With Me) in London, he trains professional athletes and private clients in order to help them achieve their fitness goals. This will help them be the best they can be. In addition to this, he is the head strength and conditioning coach at Watford Football Club for Under 19. Bhishma has also been instrumental in promoting Mudgal, the ancient Indian art of club swinging.

He aspires to become a Strength & Conditioning coach for the Indian Cricket team (BCCI).
